The short version
- Your journal is designed to stay on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your journal entries.
- There are no accounts, advertising, or third-party analytics in the app.
- We receive only information you deliberately send, such as a support email.
- CHIDELO is for adults aged 18 and over. It is a journal, not medical advice.
Information handled on your device
You may choose to record medication names and doses, injection dates and sites, body weight, symptoms, habits, notes, and questions for your clinician. This sensitive information is processed on your device to show your history, reminders, charts, and reports.
If you allow Apple Health access, CHIDELO may read body weight. You can use the app without Apple Health. CHIDELO does not write to Apple Health, and Apple Health data is not used for advertising or marketing.
Support and feedback email
If you contact support, your email provider sends us your address and the content you choose to include. An in-app feedback message may also include a visible, editable snapshot such as the app and iOS versions, device model identifier, app language, onboarding status, and aggregate feature-use counts. It is designed not to include health values, medications, doses, symptoms, or notes.
We use support email only to reply and improve the app. Ordinary feedback is retained for up to 90 days. An active support exchange may be kept for up to 180 days after your last message. Provider backups may persist for up to six months.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your journal using the in-app Delete All Data control, or delete the app.
- Turn off Apple Health access in the Health app.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete support emails by writing to [email protected].
- Residents of Washington and Nevada can read the separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
If this policy changes, we will update its version and date. Material changes to health-data handling will be presented in the app.
